At Upland Consulting, we work with a method we call the “Four Truths of Business Growth®”. These are four inescapable truths that you will also need to work with, if you are going to navigate the deep waters of business growth.
In this series of short articles, we’ll look at the basics of the Four Truths approach.
Here’s an outline:
- Growth comes from working ON, not working IN.
- It starts with Why.
- You won’t make it on your own.
- Business growth and personal growth go hand-in-hand.
They are in this order because that’s the best way to start. As you work through them, you’ll find they run more in parallel. You don’t “finish” one and then move on to the next, because your work on each one feeds into your work on the others. There’s a lot to unpack in each of these short statements.
This is about you, the business owner, because that’s where our work with business starts. We focus on the human part.
